This delightful and very spacious single storey traditional stone cottage is surrounded by open farmland enjoying superb views towards the Sutherland Mountains. Situated in the eastern Scottish Highlands, within easy walking distance of the beach, this 3 bedroom semi-detached family cottage lies 40 miles NE of the city of Inverness.

Remotely situated on the Portmahomack peninsula amongst beautiful countryside and close to some fabulous beaches the local area offers many opportunities for walking and exploring. Bird-watching, beach-combing, golf, fishing, swimming and whale/dolphin watching are some of the many activities to be enjoyed here.

The cottage is available for holiday rentals on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday and provides ample comfortable self-catering accommodation for 6 people. Please see our availability calendar and our weekly rates for 2008 together with our booking conditions.

With some of the lowest recorded rainfall figures in Britain and without the dreaded ‘West Coast Midges’, this area is truly a place to explore at any time of the year.
