Terms
and Conditions
1.
These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) are between
A S Warwick of {address} (“Owner”) and {renter’s
name & address} (“Renter”) and are dated XYZ.
2.
Whereas the Owner has agreed to let to the Renter the property
known as 5-6 Geanies Farm Cottages, {+ full address} (the “Cottage”)
on a self-catering holiday let basis for the period of ___ weeks
at £X per week, from {date) to {date} (the “Booking”).
The Renter is at least 18 years of age.
3.
Following the Owner’s receipt of the Renter’s initial
10% deposit for the Booking the balance of payment is due at least
6 weeks prior to Renter’s arrival at the Cottage. If the
Cottage is booked within 6 weeks prior to arrival, the full amount
is due immediately. Confirmation of the Owner’s receipt
of the final payment will be sent to the Renter with necessary
details and directions by post.
4.
A damage deposit of £100 is required in addition to the
weekly rental rate and the Renter should send such amount to the
Owner with the final balance payment. This damage deposit will
be held throughout the duration of the Booking and be refunded
within 7 days of Renter’s Booking ending subject to inspection
of the Cottage and its contents.
5.
The Renter warrants that the number of occupants staying at the
Cottage for the duration of the Booking must not exceed six under
any circumstances.
6.
The Renter agrees not to take or admit any pets whatsoever to
the Cottage.
7.
The Renter accepts that the Cottage is a ‘no-smoking’
property.
8.
The Owner shall make the Cottage available from 3pm on day of
arrival (Saturday) until 10am (Saturday) on day of departure.
9.
The Renter is responsible for keys of the Cottage whilst in their
possession and must return them to local contact as advised.
10.
In the event that any Booking is cancelled by the Renter the following
cancellation charges will apply:
4 to 8 weeks notice - 25% of weekly rate
2 to 4 weeks notice - 50% of weekly rate
1 to 2 weeks notice - 100% of weekly rate
Renter
is advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance, including
a cancellation clause.
In
the event that any Booking is cancelled by the Owner, the Owner
shall make a full refund of all monies received from the Renter
for such Booking.
11.
Liability: The Owner shall have no liability for any death or
personal injury unless this results from the negligence of the
Owner or its agents (providing they were at the time acting on
behalf of the Owner). Renter must take all necessary steps to
safeguard their personal property. No liability is accepted by
the Owner in respect of damage to, or loss of, such personal property
except where the damage or loss is caused by the negligence of
the Owner or that of any agent of the Owner (providing they were
at the time acting on behalf of the Owner). The Owner shall have
no liability whatsoever for any consequential loss howsoever caused.

This Agreement does not constitute any form of tenancy agreement. |
